Circular Woodworking Programme: Power Tools 101 - 5 Weeks, The ReCreators Green Space, Sunday, 23 Feb - 23 March, 10am-1pm

Ready to level up your woodworking game? Join The ReCreators' 5-week circular woodworking course with Green Jon! 

Get hands-on with jigsaws, drills, sanders, and more tools as you craft functional and beautiful wooden pieces. 

Sharpen your woodworking and power tool skills while having a blast in this exciting workshop!

We'll be working on these projects for the garden and house in this course:

Wk 1: welcome, introductions; tool use & safety, scope of workshop; chopping board

Wk 2/3: recycling, what is it? Make a chair or stool with pre-cut wood

Wk 4/5: go freestyle with some suggestions to be signed off by the tutor: bird feeder/birdhouse; fairy house/ small crib; planter stand / planter; bench

The ReCreators are running this comprehensive 5-week circular woodworking design course every Sunday at The Green Space, Massey

Notes: 

1. All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors.
2. Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.
3. Please also note that you need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
4. Bring a water bottle, snack and lunch for yourself.
