The ReCreators are running this comprehensive 5-week circular woodworking design course every Saturday at West Auckland's RE: MAKER SPACE.

The course will include:

Sourcing (types of wood, design that suits different sizes and wood hardness etc)
Power tools 101/102 (if required- all skills welcome)
Designing to sell and earn an income
Manufacturing\processes
Marketing, sales and pricing
Mentoring sessions

Notes:

All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors.
Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.
Please also note that you need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.

When: Saturdays 10 February to 9 March, 1 pm - 4 pm

Where: West Auckland's RE: MAKER SPACE, 6 Westgate Drive, Massey.

Parking

We have three on-site carparks available for your convenience. Additionally, on-street parking surrounds the venue, and the Massey Leisure Centre is situated across the road. To ensure good neighbourly relations, kindly refrain from parking in spaces designated for our neighbours.
