TERM 1 CLASSES - Check them out belowÂ
Aerials, Hoops, Acrobalance and Circus 101! are here for starters, some weekly, some short-block or intensive classes.Â
All classes will run with appropriate awareness of cleanliness and social distancing, including limited numbers.
Reconnect with other women, get back into action and/or challenge yourself to learn a new skill, especially while Choir is not yet able to run safely.Â
WHAT'S ON?
AERIALS BEGINNER
Mondays 1st February - 29th MarchÂ
6:00pm - 7:30pm
Trainer: Jane Davis
$180 Full Term / $155 Concession
For complete newbies and those edging towards intermediate level, or those who want to build strength and review fundamental skills before moving on to more advanced classes. This class will include a focus on trapeze and silks, and introduce some skills on aerial hoop.
AERIALS INTERMEDIATE
Mondays 1st February - 29th MarchÂ
7:00pm - 9:00pm

$235 Full Term / $205 Concession
Pre-requisites for class: Unsure if you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced? The typical intermediate student can:
- Consistently straddle over from a climb on silks (‘cheating’ by toeing silks is ok)
- Can climb to the top of the silks confidently
- Has been coming to aerials for at least a year, and has a wide repertoire of skills on the trapeze
- Is confident standing on the trapeze and ready to learn more skills on the ropes.

AERIALS ADVANCED
Wednesdays 3rd February - 31st MarchÂ

The amazing Louise Clark will teach this class in trapeze, silks and Lyra.
ACROBALANCE
Wednesdays 3rd February - 31st March
7:00pm - 9:00pm
$210 Full Term / $185 Concession
Otherwise known as the fine art of standing on your friend…. Acrobalance is the circus art of creating partner balances and acrobatic skills with two or more people. Due to covid restrictions, we ask that people enrol in the classes with a friend who they would like to work with. Please contact us if you are interested in participating but aren’t sure who to work with and we’ll see if we can help you connect with someone.
Circus 101!
Thursdays 4th February - 1st April
11:30am - 1:00pm
$160 Full Term / $145 Concession
A range of circus skills, including juggling, acrobalance, hoops, stilt walking, trapeze, aerial silks, handstands and fire twirling (weather and fire bans permitting).
HOOPS
Saturdays 6th February - 27th March
11:00am - 12:30pm
$145 Full Term / $130 concession
Come get your hoop on with Sarah each Saturday! This class explores the technical, creative and dance elements of hooping in a fun and supportive environment. New tricks are learnt with an emphasis on finding your individual style and connection to this captivating circle.
We include conditioning and flexibility and will work on a little hoop choreography over the term. This class caters for absolute beginners as well as experienced sisters. Casual drop-ins are also welcome.

NEW TO CIRCUS WOW? Welcome! Circus WOW is a membership based community group for women 18+. An Annual Membership fee of $10.50 is required for participation in all classes and workshops. Please purchase a $10.50 Circus WOW 2020 Annual Membership ticket in addition to your class booking(s). Please also complete this consent and medical screening form HERE before classes start.

EMERGENCY CONTACT: Required when booking a class. We have seen medical emergencies occur in both physical and not-so-physical classes.  An emergency contact helps your trainer to support you in the unlikely event that a medical emergency occurs.
