Funding received from The Culture Bank enabled Circus WOW to purchase safe and reliable crash mats! As part of this grant, we agreed to put on an end of year show. If you would like to create a piece to perform at the end of year show, this is the time and space to do that! The tentative show date is: December 17th 3pm - 5pm.
A show where women come together to share stories of triumph and disaster while creatively tackling life’s mishaps. It will provide performance opportunities for Circus WOW members to share their misses and their marks through laughter and movement. The show was originally inspired by our old and ratty crash mats. Our often overlooked and trodden upon crash mats will be celebrated as stars of the show. Like a calm best friend, these lovely pillows of protection are honest, loyal, and soften the blow of any unexpected faceplants. Our crash mats are essential for getting back up after a tumble, closely followed by our supportive community, good humour, and sheer determination.
