    Event description

“By disaster or design, our economic system is going to change”.

Circularity is the next frontier of sustainability. But what is it? & How do we harness it?

A jam packed 4 hour workshop for individuals, business owners and future community leaders in Melbourne who want to move beyond ‘sustainability’, learn about circular economy leadership principles and how to take collective action on the climate crisis.

Find your feet with the Circular Transitions Leadership Workshop and turn your ideas into action. In the workshop, we'll cover:

    • Introduction to the Circular Economy, including linear systems and their impact on climate change, circular system design principles, practices, lifecycle thinking and barriers to implementation.
    • Develop practical skills to apply circular economy thinking to waste systems and value proposition development.
    • Develop and apply knowledge in who to engage with within your community, needs and opportunities.
    • From value proposition to implementation of circular solutions, learn how to identify barriers and how to overcome them.

    What you'll learn:

    1. Learn the basics of CE and harness your ‘why’
    2. Identify the climate issue you want to address - what do you want to agitate?
    3. Learn how to build your community around your solution
    4. All workshop participants will join Cirque du Soil’s ongoing community of practice group where everyone is on a mission to solve the climate crisis, regardless of subject matter.
