Featuring breathtaking acrobatic performances and the first rain curtain on a touring show, LUZIA takes audiences on a surreal escape to an imaginary Mexico.
Written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, LUZIA invites you to an imaginary Mexico, like in a waking dream, where light (“luz” in Spanish) quenches the spirit and rain (“lluvia”) soothes the soul. In a series of grand visual surprises and breathtaking acrobatic performances, LUZIA takes Australian audiences on a surrealistic journey through a vibrant world filled with wonders, playfulness, and striking artistry. Smoothly passing from an old movie set to the ocean to a smoky dance hall or an arid desert, LUZIA cleverly brings to the stage multiple places, faces, and sounds of Mexico taken from both tradition and modernity. Rich in awe-inspiring moments, LUZIA enchants by incorporating rain into acrobatic and artistic scenes – a first for a Cirque du Soleil touring production.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Departing Port Bus Depot by 07:30. An early lunch stop @ Heatherbrae (choose between Heatherbrae Pies, Hungry Jacks, KFC, or Guzman & Gomez own cost) Checking in around 14:00. We depart at 15:30 to Moore Park. Show time is 16:30. Dinner tonight is only a couple of doors up on George St at the Fat Thaiger.
Day 2: After breakfast, we will check out and depart by 08:15. Straight through to Newcastle for our 3-hour Nova Christmas Lunch Cruise. Drop-offs should commence by 18:00.

Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given:
42 days or more—loss of deposit
29-41 days: 50% of fare plus deposit
30 days before and the Day of departure: 100% of the fare.
In the case of concert or sporting tours, where admission tickets are purchased in advance, a minimum cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of admission ticket fees will apply.
Some accommodations require prepayment and refunds will be subject to their conditions.
