Event description
Discover the history and technology that has powered Indianapolis since the late 1800's. The Perry K. Steam Plant originally provided electricity and is now the second largest district steam systems in the United States, supporting hot and chilled water needs across Indianapolis.
Join SWE-CI as we learn about the site and take a tour of the facility, led by Citizen's Thermal Engineering team.
Please plan to wear slacks/long pants and closed-toe/hard soled shoes. No sleeveless shirts; no shorts; no dresses/skirts; no sandals/high heels may be worn.

Disclaimer: Plant access includes walking over open grating and use of stairs is extensive, so attendees with fear of heights need to be aware.
There is no age limit to this event, however participants must be able to walk through the plant unassisted. Also, everyone must have a ticket.
