CITL Connect: Data and Data Strategy

We are delighted to bring you our second CITL Connect event, all about data! Join us in-person on Thursday 21 May for Data: The Final Frontier.

If you're a charity leader or sector professionals and you want to get to grips with the data challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, this is a must-attend event for you. Think of it as a journey from the outer edges of data exploration to the practical realities of implementation, with the occasional nod to Starfleet‑level curiosity.

Across the day, we will navigate some of the biggest questions facing modern charities:

• How do you get your data AI‑ready, and what does that mean in practice?

• How do you bring your Board with you? Leaders often call for insights and data‑driven decisions, but what does meaningful organisational buy‑in require?

• What should a modern data strategy look like for charities facing increasing complexity and demand?

• How do you get started with modern cloud data platforms, or migrate without losing momentum?

• What will fundraising teams need from data in the next decade, and how do they want to use it?

The programme will include short presentations, including contributions from our four sponsors, alongside "unconference" sessions (peer debates) and lively panel discussions designed to spark debate and open up new ways of thinking. There will also be time for networking and shared problem‑solving with peers across the sector.

This event is aimed at senior leaders but is accessible to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Attendees are encouraged to bring a colleague from their organisation’s leadership team to help build shared understanding and momentum.
