City Nature Challenge @ Valley Conservation Reserve
Event description
Join us at our City Nature Challenge event at Scotchman's Creek, hosted by Monash Council and the passionate Friends of Scotchman's Creek!
Walking through Scotchman's Creek and the Valley Conservation Reserve, the Friends Of Scotchman’s Creek will help us to explore and take photos of the fascinating plants, animals and insects that live in Monash. Community observations play such an important role in allowing us to understand our environment and biodiversity. We will finish with a short weeding session and morning tea in the reserve.
Come take part to discover species, learn about our urban bushlands and snap photos of plants and animals for citizen science!
Meeting point: The Amenities block, entry from carpark at 80 Waimarie Drive, Mount Waverley
