In an annual Christmas tradition the City of Armadale invites you to join in the festive spirit of the holiday season with Carols by Candlelight. This family friendly Christmas event is bursting with community pride and celebration as it resonates with the incredible community spirit we have right here in Armadale! You are invited to come and enjoy the evening in person or tune into the concert livestream, broadcasted through the City of Armadale's YouTube Channel.

DADAA Accessible Viewing Area - Bookings Essential

We are once again proud to present Perth's most accessible carols event! In the DADAA Accessible Viewing Area spaces can be reserved for people living with a disability and their families to enjoy the carols together. The following services will be available for those who book them:

Additional ACROD parking
Service dog area
Tables and chairs
Songbooks in Braille*
Auslan interpreter
Audio description
Bluetooth assistive listening

Additionally, if you would prefer to watch it from the comfort of your lounge room or a local community space then consider making a night of it by inviting your friends and family around and tuning into the livestream. Details for the livestream will be provided closer to the event date.

Please note that bookings for the DADAA Accessible Viewing Area are essential through Humanitix ticketing.

More About The Event

The evening begins early with the Christmas Parade through Jull Street Mall. Featuring a variety of colourful characters and performances by local community groups, providing an exciting spectacle for the young and imaginative.

Follow the parade through to Memorial Park, where Santa Claus will address the audience and share some special words of wisdom with the children in the lead up to Christmas.

Collect your songbooks and LED candles with a gold coin donation, and join in the musical spectacular! Gates open at 5:30pm, with performances starting at 6:30pm by local schools, community choirs, emerging local soloists and supported with live music by the Armadale City Concert Band.

With thousands joining in the festivities, Carols by Candlelight is the perfect mix of high quality music, the stunning candlelight atmosphere and families enjoying the festive spirit in the lead up to Christmas – so make sure you are part of it, whether that be in person or online!
