City of Joondalup 'Young Musician of the Year Award 2024' Presented by Perth Symphony

The City of Joondalup's Young Musician of the Year Award is an exciting and dynamic contest for musicians across Western Australia with a minimum Grade 6 AMEB or Year 12 ATAR Syllabus across five distinct categories: Brass, Percussion, Strings, Woodwind, and Piano. With the winner taking home the title 'Young Musician of the Year', an exciting opportunity to perform with Perth Symphony Orchestra and a share of a $5000 prize pool.
This will be followed by a musical showcase filled with surprises along the way, at the stunning Sacred Heart College, RNDM Performing Arts Centre, Sunday 6 October, where selected musicians will compete for the prestigious ‘City of Joondalup Young Musician of the Year Award.'
