Expect different tempos, different feels and different styles and genres, combined purposefully and skilfully, to offer you a unique journey.

As the Ecstatic Dance journey starts; expect some guidance, which has the purpose to bring you to the present moment, so you can become aware of not only your body but your divine existence and your unconditional worthiness. 

Nothing is compulsory with regards to my guidance. You can make a choice to do or not do it. 

Some exercises will be suggested, so you can drop off the logical mind, expand your thought pattern, surrender to your emotions and come to a state of acceptance of who you are, so you can leave the space knowing that 'more' is possible for you!We complete the event in stillness (in whatever position you prefer), followed by a closing circle.

IMPORTANT INFO
Eat lightly to have enough energy for the dance, though avoid any heavy meal right beforehand
All genders are welcome.
No level of dance required, beginners welcome.
No phone on the dance floor.
No talking on the dance floor.
Barefoot is recommended for a better experience
Injured or going through health issues ? Bring your own yoga mat and blanket ; you are welcome to sit and honour your needs.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect some guidance from me during the dance journey; though there will be moments without any facilitation.
Expect some music tracks that you love, and others that you do not like... Come with curiosity, an open mind and an open heart.
The choice of music offers the possibility to reflect and meditate, to release stuck emotions, to shake off tensions, to liberate yourself from judgement, to explore new ways to move within a group, to feel time-less and spacious, to let go of worries and dance your dreams.
I will guide you on the dance floor with a microphone, and for sure, I will dance with you!
It is not expected from you to dance with others, though you are welcome to interact and dance with others with a sense of respect and awareness.

MORE ABOUT MY APPROACH
My approach as an Ecstatic Dance Facilitator is influenced by my spiritual practice. I am a Unconditional Love healing practitioner and use this modality for my own healing and evolution. 

I did a 11-day Ecstatic Dance training in 2020 with Deva - Ecstatica Bali, and have been running roughly 250 events since 2018 outdoors, indoors, and online). I add to it my own personality, my experience of Life. 

To me, all emotions are equally important. The dance floor is a good place to let them ‘move’. 

Awareness, acknowledgement and expression of our emotions allow us to unravel what we believe about ourselves. We can then discover thinking patterns ; very often rooted in our past and environment. 

As a Shaking Medicine Practitioner, I might also use my knowledge and experience of tremoring to guide you towards a state of surrender.Dance can be a catalyst for your evolution. 

Dance is not a substitute for individualised support and dance 'by itself' does not solve a trauma response and does not heal you. 

I believe self-enquiry and a deep healing process are complementary to initiate some true shifts (i.e what you believe you are worthy of experiencing in life)
