City-Scape Photographers Meetup (Perth)

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Join Seng and Venture Photography Workshops and Tours for a photography meetup and photowalk to explore the forms, angles, light and shapes of the Perth urban environment. It's a great way to capture something different and to meet other local photographers and photography enthusiasts. This event is open to photographers of all levels, including beginners.

We kick off at 10.30am at the Western Australian Visitor's Centre on the corner of Hay St and William St in Perth, and then walk westwards along Hay Street towards QV1. There is much to photograph en route, and then at QV1, with the emphasis on looking at the way the daytime light illuminates Perth's modern architecture.

We will then turn south towards St Georges Terrace and wander westwards back towards our meeting point before wrapping up. Perth offers a lot of awesome places for a drink and meal, so why not extend your time there and grab a bite or drink after the meetup?

You will need: your camera, lens/es preferably with longer focal lenths (50mm onwards).

This event is free -- though you need to register to attend so we know how many to expect.

See you there!
