Event description

Supply chain management is a complex topic, when sustainability and decarbonisation is layered on top, it can become quite the challenge. CitySwitch, with the support of Edge Impact, will break it down for you in our green your supply chain workshop.

Edge Impact are a global impact consultancy who combine science, strategy and storytelling. Their team of sustainable procurement and supply chain experts will lead this interactive workshop.

If you’re a sustainability manager, office manager, facilities manager, or the sustainability champion in your business we’d encourage you to come along. We’d also warmly welcome those in procurement or supplier and contract management.

Whilst perfect may not be possible, progress to decarbonise your supply chain can have a real impact. The important thing is getting started. As always, CitySwitch aims to provide tangible and practical steps to take back to your business no matter how mature your approach to supply chain management is currently.

This session will cover:

  • 101 guidance to greening your supply chain
  • Why supply chain engagement is critical to net zero
  • How to get started and creating an internal ecosystem for success
  • Why and how to do a materiality (risk and prioritisation) assessment of your suppliers
  • Overview of how to embed carbon reduction into the procurement process
  • Initial supply chain engagement tactics
  • Real world examples of common supply chains for CitySwitch businesses
  • Insights from Cityswitch member, MI Global Partners. Michelle Morris, principal consultant, will talk to their sustainable procurement framework and outcomes.

Expect a lively and interactive session and a chance to swap notes and ask questions of your peers.

Light breakfast catering will be served and a free tea/coffee voucher for the onsite cafe will be provided. Don't forget your reusable coffee cup.
