We’re excited to welcome you to our campus for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Showcase, supported by Fulton Hogan & IPWEA (NSW & ACT), as part of UTS Tech Festival 2025!
Civil and environmental engineers play a crucial role in building a better future, specialising in construction, structures, environmental impact, transportation, waste management, and more.
At the showcase, you’ll have the chance to explore the achievements of our top students who are driving innovation in these fields. Their projects demonstrate how civil and environmental engineering can be applied to solve real-world challenges and create more sustainable communities.
From energy-efficient buildings to innovative transport solutions, these student-led projects show how the next generation of engineers is making a meaningful difference in the world around them.

Who is IPWEA (NSW & ACT)?
The Institute of Public Works Engineering (IPWEA) NSW & ACT Division is the peak industry body for public works professionals in NSW and the ACT, with the vision to enhance the quality of life of NSW and ACT communities through excellence in public works and services. IPWEA (NSW & ACT) conducts industry leading research, provides technical support, advice and training to its members, and advocates to state and federal government on matters relating to the public works sector.
