Two of Australia's masters of jazz come together for an intimate duo performance, drawing on their 30 years of rich history to improvise together on original piece and choice standards. Truly a musical feast.

Award-winning musicians Phil Slater and Matt McMahon have performed together for over thirty years in many collaborative projects, such as “The Band Of Five Names”, each other’s groups, and many other contexts including with Vince Jones, Steve Hunter, Dale Barlow etc. In their duo performances they draw on all of their rich history as they improvise together on original pieces and some choice standards.

Each year we offer premium, ticketed gigs at the Clarence Jazz Festival Jazz Lounge @ Rosny Barn, where audiences can sink in and absorb truly world class musical offerings in an intimate, high end setting.
