Clan Analogue at Coco Bananas Record Store
Event description
Australia’s longest-running electronic music collective Clan Analogue take over Coco Bananas record store in Footscray during the afternoon of Saturday, 18th of May, as part of the 2024 Sleepless Footscray Festival. Clan Analogue artists Reductionist, Michael Mildren and Ollie Lee will perform live in-store, spanning experimental sonics, ambient tones and pumping tech-house, just a selection of the styles for which this legendary collective has been known.
Clan Analogue at Coco Bananas gets started at 4pm on Saturday the 18th of May, going through until 7pm. The afternoon starts with a live set from Reductionist, using micro-instruments to create macro-sounds which distort the perception of time. Synth virtuoso Michael Mildren follows, with a mono-synth and loop pedal building a live improvised inner-world soundscape. Ollie Lee closes the event with a live jam on the tech-house anthems and progressive techno which have been heard on recent Clan Analogue releases Cognition 303 and Ming One’s Addiction.
Head on down to Footscray’s newest hip record store Coco Bananas on Saturday the 18th of May at 4pm for sonic selections from Clan Analogue as part of the 2024 Sleepless Footscray Festival. Coco Bananas is located at 32 Chambers St, Footscray, right near the Nicholson St Mall.
