    Event description

Join us this Seniors Week for a stroll, soak in the scenery and enjoy a curated tour of notable historical Bellerive landmarks.

This leisurely afternoon walk is a great opportunity to embrace the rich history, makes new friends and connect with familiar faces. Open to all ages.

Take the 1.5hour return walk along the Bellerive Board Walk, stopping several times at key focus points of interest and finishing with afternoon tea at Kangaroo Bay picnic area.

Meet at the carpark, 20 Kangaroo Bay Drive, Rosny Park

Hosted by councils Clarence Positive Ageing working group (CPAWG). Afternoon tea available.

Please ensure that you bring a hat, wear appropriate walking shoes and bring a water bottle.

PLEASE NOTE: The majority of the walk along the Clarence Foreshore trail is a flat concrete surface. A section of the walk is along the Bellerive Boardwalk which is constructed of boards. There is also a section of the path that goes through a gravel carpark. Even though the path is concrete, it is uneven in places and subject to gravel over the path and wet weather may result in water over this section of path. Staff will be available on the day for support.

The Clarence Foreshore Trail is a shared path; walkers are reminded to keep to the left and follow any instructions from staff.

For anyone with mobility requirements interested in booking, please contact council with any queries.
