Clarence Jazz Festival: Jazz Lounge Friday Session 1

Inside the Jazz Lounge, an intimate cabaret venue within Rosny Barn, there will be a series of premium ticketed concerts featuring a stellar line-up of Tasmanian musicians.

Hobart Brewing Co. and Willie Smith’s will be serving up delicious beverages inside the Jazz Lounge.

5pm                Jason Whatley Quintet - Launching his latest album, On the Beak, a sophisticated second album from composer and pianist Jason Whatley. It’s a hip nod to the past that maintains a raw and modern freshness

6.45pm                 Susannah Coleman-Brown Quartet – Be the first to hear Susannah Coleman-Brown Quartet perform a suite of stirring, intimate compositions, premiering her new jazz album material before entering the studio the following week
