Join us for Clarence Talks, a  free mental health and wellbeing information sessions designed for sporting clubs in Clarence, in collaboration with Clarence City Council 

We're thrilled to announce that Good Sports to bringing you an extra special event! Mark your calendars for May 29, 2024, from 6.00 to 7.30 pm, as we delve into an evening of health and wellbeing discussions.

Join us for insightful conversations, valuable information, and practical tips to support your club members  to lead a healthier lifestyle. 

With the expertise of Good Sports and our dedicated speakers, this event promises to be both informative and engaging. You'll also get the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

Guest speakers:

  • Hugh Graham, Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF): Gain insights into the Good Sports program and how to develop a good club culture, whilst managing alcohol and mental health in your club. 
  • Alex Fitzgerald, Speak Up! Stay ChatTY: Explore the importance of mental health awareness and the resources available to support individuals in times of need.
  • North Hobart Football Club: Winning the 2023 National Mental Health Excellence Award, discover how the Club leads the way in prioritising mental health within our sporting community. The club is dedicated to creating a culture where mental wellbeing is valued just as much as physical performance. 
  • Inspector Andrew Keane, Tasmania Police: Learn about community safety measures and proactive approaches to ensuring wellbeing in our neighbourhoods.
