- What is the event?
A Creative Portraits workshop with Jinan Dodd. You’ll paint an expressive portrait using acrylics, with guidance on colour blending, sketching and abstract techniques.

- Who is Jinan Dodd?
Jinan Dodd is a Māori artist and musician based in Perth, known for his vibrant murals and expressive acrylic portraits, as well as his music. His work blends contemporary techniques with influences from his heritage, focusing on colour, storytelling, and mindful creativity.

- Do I need painting experience?
No. The class is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

- What's included in my ticket?
All art materials, hot drinks, juices, water and light bites. Vegan, halal and vegetarian options are available. Additional drinks can be purchased at the bar.

- What should I bring?
Just yourself. You may bring a reference photo if you’d like to paint a specific person. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.
- Can I come alone?
Yes. Tables 4 and 8 are reserved as “Individuals Preferred” seating. Select a seat at one of the tables, or let us know at checkout and we’ll seat you with other solo attendees.
- Is the venue accessible?
There is a dedicated accessibility entry. Please contact us beforehand or let the event staff know upon arrival for assistance.
The accessibility entry is wheelchair accessible with a double-door entry. There are single-door entries within the venue.
The main entry has a single door with 2 regular steps.
