Clay & Wine at The Cutting

Event description

The Cutting is teaming up with the creatives at Really Useful Pots to bring you a fun-filled day of pottery, wine and local treats.

Really Useful Pots is a small family-run pottery based in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. Susanna, a self-taught potter and her daughter Matilda experiment with different types of clay and techniques to bring life and colour to your home and garden. Drawing inspiration from the abundance of local birdlife and landscapes, the pair are passionate about creating beautiful and truly practical pieces.

Experience A Little More Barossa in a relaxed atmosphere at The Cutting's boutique winery and vineyard setting. Resident winemaker Belinda van Eyssen will kick off the day with a wine tasting. You'll be guided through the art of hand-building with clay and all things pottery while sipping on our highly acclaimed red wines. Local caterer Malcolm Filsell will serve delicious Reubens from freshly sourced Barossa produce.

Join us for a day of creativity, delicious wines and a chance to experience the Barossa Valley's famed hospitality.

Ticket includes one complimentary glass of wine, lunch and pottery workshop.

General admission tickets are available for those who are not participating in the workshop but choose to join for a glass of wine and Reuben from 1pm onwards.

*Pottery will not be fired or glazed however, this can be arranged with Really Useful Pots at an extra cost on the day.

*Additional wines by the glass or bottle and beautiful ceramics will be available to purchase on the day.
