Event description
Get your hands into clay in the 5-week short course with Talbot-based Jason Luca. This short course is perfect for absolute beginners and also for those with some experience.

Through simple hand building techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building, you will be able to create your own original works. Up to three decorative or functional pieces will be fired at the end of the course (firing cost is calculated by weight) and these will be returned to the centre for collection when ready.
Term 1 commences Thursday 9 February and runs for 5 weeks. Cost is $260 for the term and includes a 6kg bag of clay, some underglazes and all tools (firing costs extra). 3 hour class held in comfortable room at Newstead Arts Hub with small numbers (max 8 people).
