Come and make a pinch pot or two at the Curiosity Cafe.

Creating something with clay is a fun way to get creative while also practicing mindfulness. In this workshop you will create something with clay using hand building techniques.

You can expect to create 2 small pieces over the 2 hours or you may want to make something larger over a few sessions.

You can learn a hand-building techniques with clay; pinch pots, slab building and coil pots. Once finished you can either take your pieces with you to be fired and glazed or leave them to be fired and glazed for you. If you want to continue and book into a 4 week session, you can leave your items to decorate and glaze yourself.

Materials: Sessions include lump of clay and tools to use. Firing and glazing and additional clay will be extra costs. Extra clay can be purchased in a kit that includes tools if you want to continue to make at home (on request).

Bring an apron and old towel, you’re bound to get dirty. For health and safety, please wear closed-in shoes.
