Event description

Clay With Bae: Ceramic Workshop

Bring your friend, partner or loved one and create your very own Trinket Tray using hand building pottery techniques - you can even make them connect together if you're fancy. Kinda like friendship necklaces, but that next level up. Spend your Friday evening having fun playing with clay and enjoying a drink or two while you're at it, sounds like fun right?

In this workshop, we will cover a number of beginner-friendly techniques to get you started on your journey into the wonderful world of hand-built ceramics! Check out our other ceramic workshops for an Intro into Clay or Cheeks Out Pottery Mugs. No prior experience required as our in-house ceramic artist will guide you from start to finish.

What you need to know:

  • Where: The Cab Canvas Studio (2/17 Hulme Court, Myaree)
  • When: Friday 2oth of October, 2023
  • Time: Arrive at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start

Included in your ticket price is:

    • Expert guidance by our ceramic artist
    • All pottery equipment & clay provided
    • Firing & Glazing by our ceramic artist* (choice of glaze below, you pick on the day!)
    • Fun times guaranteed
    • 1 x beautiful ceramic piece you can brag about!

    Important Details:

Your piece will be glazed and fired after the workshop is finished. The cost of this is included in the ticket price.

There is a wait time of 4-6 weeks before you can collect your finished piece. This is the time it takes to dry, glaze and fire your amazing creations.

A huge amount of care is exercised when finishing off your handmade items. Please note that clay is unpredictable and on rare occasions, items break in the kiln. This is all a natural part of the fun of perfecting your craft. Listening and following instructions from our ceramic artist will ensure very minimal risk.

*Choose your glaze out of 6 choices (White, Oat, Aubergine, Denim Blue (light), Ink Blue (dark), Watermelon)

    What to bring:

We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty... just in case! But don't worry clay washes right out too!
