    Event description

Join us as we clean up beautiful and wild Jervoise Bay dog beach, Jervoise Bay jetty, and the cycle path that runs between Woodman Point Road and the beach. Last year Murdoch University and community volunteers collected over 150kgs of various types of rubbish from this site, everything from cigarette butts and fishing line, drink containers to washing machine frames and discarded tyres.

PLUS, join in a microplastics audit with AUSMAP- the Australian Microplastics Assessment Project.

    Location
: Meet near the gate of Cockburn Power Boat club, Jervoise Bay Cove, Coogee

Time: meet at 8.45am for a 9am start. The clean up will finish around midday, followed by lunch.

We'll supply a free, healthy lunch to thank you for your efforts so registration is essential!

Dress for the weather (including a hat!), wear enclosed shoes, wear sunscreen, BYO filled drink bottle, and bring a chair to sit on for lunch, if you wish - we'll supply everything else!
