Natural cleaning is a way to clean your home using fewer cleaning products and safer, cheaper and less toxic alternatives. The good news is most of these natural ingredients are already in your pantry so you will be saving money and reducing waste.

At this workshop, you will learn safe and effective ways to clean your kitchen and bathroom using DIY alternatives to supermarket-bought cleaning products which often contain harmful chemicals.

Participants will make their own chemical-free surface spray and dishwasher tablets to take home. You’ll also learn natural ways to unblock drains, clean ovens and saucepans, glass/mirrors, toilets, showers and tiles, and how to keep your fridge odour-free.

Your presenter will demonstrate and provide information on:

• natural ingredients you can use including bi-carb, vinegar, lemon, essential oils, washing soda, plant-based soaps, salt

• how and when to use them in your kitchen

• recipe sheets - so you can make your own at home
