Cleaning the Natural Way - Laundry

Natural cleaning is a way to clean your home using fewer cleaning products and safer, cheaper and less toxic alternatives. The good news is most of these natural ingredients are already in your pantry so you will be saving money and reducing waste.

At this workshop, you will learn safe, effective and budget-friendly ways to wash your clothes and clean your laundry using DIY alternatives to supermarket-bought detergents which often contain harmful chemicals.

Participants will make their own chemical-free clothes detergent and handwash to take home. You’ll also learn natural ways to make fabric softener, remove stains, clean surfaces, unblock drains, clean sinks and glass/mirrors

Your presenter will demonstrate and provide information on:

• natural ingredients you can use including bi-carb, vinegar, lemon, essential oils, washing soda, plant-based soaps, salt

• how and when to use them in your laundry

• recipe sheets - so you can make your own at home
