Clear Space: Reflections
Event description
Join us as we explore outcomes and reflect on Clear Space: our online men's behaviour change program.
All people who work in family violence services are invited to participate as we share our reflections on this groundbreaking program for our queer community.
Clear Space is a unique online men’s behaviour change program (MBCP) for gay, bi trans and queer (GBTQ+) men and non-binary people across Australia who use violence in their family and/or intimate relationships. In a 2023 evaluation, the program was commended for its significant positive impacts on the behaviour of GBTQ+ men and non-binary people. As a result of this positive evaluation, Thorne Harbour with partner No to Violence secured funding from Perpetual Limited to run a second round of Clear Space, which commenced in April 2024.
This webinar will explore learnings and outcomes from the second round of Clear Space, including:
- Embedding trans-centred practice in the behaviour change space
- Integrating family safety advocacy tailored to queer communities
- Expanding behaviour change frameworks to be LGBTIQ+ inclusive
- Evolving the learnings of online MBCP delivery
Join us for an insightful discussion with practitioners and facilitators from the Clear Space program. Our expert speakers will share their knowledge and provide valuable insights.
