Description

Celebrate the end of the academic year with the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy.

Join students from across law, public policy, economics, regulation and public health to celebrate the end of the academic year at University House.

The evening will begin with a conversation about making the most of university – not only through academic results, but through the experiences, relationships and unexpected opportunities that can shape a fulfilling life and career, and the different ways you can contribute to public life.

ANU Chancellor Dr Gordon de Brouwer AO PSM FIPAA will be joined by ANU alumni Shannon Finch (Group General Counsel, Westpac) and Dr Lisa Conway (Assistant Secretary, Ending Gender-Based Violence, Office for Women, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet) for an engaging conversation about navigating career pathways after graduation.

Drawing on their experiences across public service, law and business, they will share reflections on their time at university, the paths their careers have taken and what they have learned along the way.

You’ll then have plenty of time to meet students from across the College and connect with staff and guests over canapés, drinks and live music in the newly refurbished Hall at University House.

Whether you’re new to ANU, approaching graduation or somewhere in between, this is a chance to come together as a College community, celebrate the year, make new connections and think about where your ANU experience might take you next.

Registrations are essential. Please RSVP by Friday 2 October.
