Event description

THE PANEL

In a digital-first world, lawyers are no longer confined to courtrooms and contracts, They’re increasingly visible on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. This panel explores the evolving intersection between legal practice and online presence, asking: where do we draw the line between influence and integrity?

Through a mix of practical insights and cautionary tales, our panelists, also ‘legal content creators’, ethics experts, and practitioners, will unpack the opportunities and risks of personal branding, client generation, and thought leadership online. From navigating duty of care, confidentiality, and intellectual property to understanding professional conduct rules, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the legal and ethical boundaries in play.

We’ll discuss whether content creation can enhance legal careers or undermine them, how to maintain authenticity while upholding client trust, and whether the rise of the “influencer lawyer” is a fad or the future.

This session is ideal for law students and lawyers at all levels, and legal operations looking to thrive in the digital space, without compromising their professional obligations.

This event is proudly sponsored by College of Law.
