Lendlease is known as a sustainability leader in the real estate sector but how are they driving climate action along the value chain? Referencing low-carbon workplace and commercial development case studies, panellists will share critical moments for sustainability innovation, highlighting the importance of new technology and customer partnerships in meeting shared climate goals.

Panellists:

    Darryl Stuckey – Head of Environmental Sustainability, Lendlease 

    • An environmental scientist with over 20 years’ experience, Darryl leads Lendlease’s decarbonisation, climate risk and environmental strategies. Since joining in 2007, he has developed key sustainability initiatives, including Scope 3 Emissions Protocol and Lendlease’s embodied carbon capability, playing a critical role in advancing Lendlease’s decarbonisation commitments. 

    Charlotte Stratton – Head of Leasing and Asset Management, Workplace, Lendlease 

    • A real estate investment expert with over 25 years’ experience, Charlotte has held roles at leading property institutions including ISPT, Colonial First State and The GPT Group. She has led large-scale pre-commitment leasing and asset repositioning across the Australian market and is known for her strategic investment expertise, negotiation skills and thought leadership on workplace innovation. 

    Venky Solaimalai – Regional Head of Technical Management, Asia, Lendlease 

    • Venky has over 28 years’ experience across multiple disciplines in engineering and construction, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services, sustainability solutions, smart building technologies, clean energy, Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) and the "as-a-service" business model. Based in Singapore, he leads technical management for Lendlease across Asia and is currently overseeing the Singtel ComCentre redevelopment, a world-class sustainable workplace featuring innovative solutions, the latest smart building and digital technologies.

      Kate Nelson – Head of Sustainability, Investment Management, Lendlease 

      • With over 20 years’ experience in customer-focused strategy, transformation and sustainability, Kate has led multi-million-dollar business innovations across construction, infrastructure and technology. Since joining Lendlease in 2011, she has held senior roles in Development, Construction, IT / Digital, Innovation, Sustainability and Investment Management, leveraging her change management expertise to drive performance and impact.
