Climate Action Breakfast - employee engagement
Event description
With more organisations committing to tackling the climate and nature crises, bringing employees with you on the journey is vital to achieving the change needed.
Effective engagement with staff can create shared ownership of climate action plans and lead to them playing a key role in the delivery of targets. It can also help to leverage senior leadership support for climate action and help ensure accountability.
But employees need to be empowered, supported and given incentives and tools to enable them to help.
Come along to our Climate Action Breakfast at KPMG (Queen Square) on Wednesday 12 June in partnership with Bristol City Centre BID, to gain some knowledge and insights into how you can engage your employees in climate and nature action.
Learn from Jaime Blakeley-Glover (Founder of The Most Sustainable Workplace Index) and explore:
- Why it's so important to engage your employees in climate and nature action
- What we can learn from the psychology behind behaviour change
- How to guide employee engagement activity
- How to establish an effective pathway to build employee action on sustainability and overcome barriers to engagement
We'll also hear from Kat Watts and Zoe Rasbash from Watershed about how they have engaged their employees.
Tickets are free and include a light vegan breakfast.
