Engaging and supporting suppliers, therefore, provides a huge opportunity to drive progress towards climate goals.

Join us for the first of two introductory Climate Action Breakfasts on supplier engagement in partnership with Redcliffe & Temple and City Centre BIDs, on 17 July at Burges Salmon.

We will be focusing on practical steps and actions organisations can take, hearing from Rhian Smith, Senior Consultant at 3ADAPT on:

Why supplier engagement is so important;
Setting a supplier engagement goal;
Identifying who needs to be involved internally and how to create buy-in;
How to map suppliers and select priorities for engagement.

We will also hear from Mary Lavin, Senior Manager for Sustainability & Reporting at Osborne Clarke and Kathryn Archer, Sustainable Procurement Specialist at Bristol City Council, about their experience working on these issues.

Attendees will be encouraged to identify actions to take forward ahead of the second breakfast event later this year, which will focus on how to engage and support suppliers.

A light breakfast will be provided.
