Climate Action Week Melbourne Kick-Off & Melbourne Climate Crew 1-year Anniversary

PLEASE NOTE: You will be able to join our CAW.MEL community at https://cawmelbourne.org for free regardless of whether you can make the kick off event. So after you've bought your ticket, please head over there and join the community. Between now and our big event in March 2025, we are looking for volunteers to join us and turn Climate Action Week Melbourne into a festival of inspiring and educational climate events.

Join us for the official kick-off of the Climate Action Week Melbourne 2024, where we will have a live cross-over with Sydney for the official kick-off of our big sibling Climate Action Week Sydney!

We are teaming up with the Climateers for a mini-action summit around ideas for more events like this, celebrating the 1-year anniversary of the Melbourne Climate Crew, a friendly social community of "climate friends", that you should 100% join if you're in Melbourne, and key sustainability leader Sustainability Victoria.

We will start from 4PM with networking, followed by a fun brainstorm around what events we should organise for CAW.MEL in 2025, which is a great way to connect to other climate-minded people. Make sure you join on time for the live cross-over with Sydney for the official kick-off of Climate Action Week! We will then continue with the IRL networking and catch-ups, and for those who are keen to grab a bite with us, we will head to the Imperial Hotel.

Not only is this an opportunity to be a part of the inaugural kick-off of Climate Action Week in Melbourne AND Sydney, you also get to celebrate the first anniversary of the Melbourne Climate Crew, AND a taster for the signature action summits that Climateers organise to tackle food waste and other climate challenges.

Tickets are $20 and cover drinks, some nibbles and access to the venue at cost.

From 7PM we will head to the Imperial Hotel to continue celebrations of the Melbourne Climate Crew's 1-year anniversary; this part is not ticketed and self-paid as usual.
