Climate Concert
Event description
On Saturday the 11th of November the passionate members of School Strike for Climate Castlemaine will be running a Climate Concert at the Goods Shed. We hope to bring attention to the ongoing climate crisis and inspire the whole community to come together for a greener future. We think that music has the power to amplify important messages, and we have a brilliant lineup of bands that will make for a great night. Keaper is a Melbourne-based band writing immersive, guitar-driven music and blending it with visual flair. A backdrop of jangling guitars and swirling synths - Muma Ganoush is a project led by front-woman Shelby Wilton. Fryer is a young band based in Central Victoria who recently won the 2023 Battle of the Bands.
There will also be a big raffle with amazing and diverse prizes from Sprout Bakery, Tortoise Expresso, Coffee Basics, Green Goes The Grocer, Castlemaine Vintage Bazaar, Tribe, Corner Store Merchants, ONI Streetwear, Stonemans Bookroom, Wesley Hill Bakery
