Climate Conversations: Water Futures and Climate Change
Description
Join us for the launch of the Climate Change Science Hub’s new series, Climate Conversations—a platform for exploring the pressing scientific challenges posed by climate change, and the solutions that science can offer.
Our inaugural event focuses on the urgent and complex question: how do we secure our water resources in a changing climate? Together, we’ll explore how climate change is reshaping water availability and quality; the threats to aquatic biodiversity and ecosystem resilience, and how science can help harness and protect water systems to buffer climate impacts.
A panel of our Hub experts and international guests will present short, thought-provoking talks from different disciplinary perspectives, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
All are welcome—staff and students from across the Faculty and beyond. A light lunch will be provided – please register for catering purposes.
