Join us to celebrate the 3-year anniversary of the launch of New Zealand Planet (Team for the Planet in Aotearoa) and the Climate Drinks community in Auckland!

Hosted by the Auckland community of Team for the Planet (TFTP) and with the support of the FNZCCI Climate & Sustainability Committee, this special edition of Climate Drinks will include guest speakers, engaging discussions, and a toast to three years of local climate action and community connection.

What To Expect:

💡 Inspiring talk from guest speakers Simon Harvey and Emma Singh from Tonkin + Taylor: "Breaking down barriers to meaningful change mitigation and adaptation - sharing experiences and insights." This interactive session will explore real-world challenges and practical solutions to accelerate climate action in Aotearoa.

About Our Speakers:

Emma Singh
Emma is a Senior Natural Hazard and Climate Risk Consultant at T+T. She has 10+ years’ global experience in natural hazard and climate change risk assessment. She has worked with and delivered a wide range of consulting services for corporate clients and stakeholders from the insurance industry, government and emergency management, including climate and multi-hazard risk assessments; climate-related reporting, catastrophe modelling; and quantification and optimisation of insurable risk. She has conducted research and work in the physical, social, and financial fields of natural hazards and disaster risk reduction.
Simon Harvey
Simon is a senior advisor specialising in strategic approaches to sustainable value creation and positive impact. He joined Tonkin + Taylor in July 2024 to support a deeper integration of specialist sustainability services across the firm’s broad range of technical client work. Simon works at the intersection of sustainability and strategy. He’s passionate about helping clients navigate the relationship between issues like climate change, nature-based design, circular economy and community wellbeing with the challenge of short and long-term value creation.
