Presented by Tony Thomas

Join us for a presentation by veteran investigative journalist Tony Thomas on how climate activism is being promoted in Australian schools.

Tony Thomas is a highly experienced journalist with a career spanning more than six decades. He worked for The West Australian, served as Economics Writer in the Canberra Press Gallery for The Age, and spent two decades at Business Review Weekly (including a decade as Associate Editor). Since retiring from full-time journalism he has been a prolific contributor to Quadrant, writing extensively on climate policy, media, and education.

In this talk he will examine the materials and programs reaching schoolchildren on climate and energy issues.
