Our speakers
⚡️Jenny Sahng
"Set & forget climate action"
Climate change is a near-term existential crisis facing humankind. Most people want to take climate action. Very few people know how to do it in a way that's affordable, effective, and practical given your time and energy. Jenny is here to share all the ways that we can make effective climate action accessible for everyone.
Jenny is a project lead and data generalist at Rewiring Aotearoa, combining data expertise with climate communication to drive emissions reduction in NZ. Previously, she was a data scientist at Xero, founding team member at kiwi tech startup Multitudes, and co-founder of nonprofit Climate Club Aotearoa.
⚡️Ashleigh Adair
"From Overwhelm to Ownership - finding your focus in Climate Tech"
All life - especially human - relies entirely on the natural ecosystems that evolved on planet Earth for survival. But we’re constantly distracted from this pure and terrifying reality. Or worse, we’re convinced we can’t do anything about the damage we're doing to it. Ashleigh will share her journey from Big Tech burnout to building solutions in climate tech - without a technical degree or a clear roadmap. For anyone feeling unsure where to start or how to have impact, Ashleigh offers a hopeful, honest take on finding your place and moving from overwhelm to action.
Ashleigh is the founder of DataLoom; building an AI-powered decision engine to help businesses navigate their sustainable transitions. Previously she was a Principal Analytical Lead at Google, Data & Insights Team Lead at LinkedIn, and Head of Digital at a founding UK B Corp business.
