Climate Conversations: From Science to Solutions in the Energy Transition
Science Lecture Theatre (S1), Monash Clayton Campus
Clayton VIC, Australia · Accessibility info
Description
Join us for the next event in the Climate Change Science Hub’s Climate Conversations series — a forum for exploring the most pressing scientific challenges posed by climate change and the solutions that science can offer. This session will tackle a critical question:
What emerging scientific innovations could deliver game-changing shifts in our transition to a net-zero economy — and what risks do they carry?
Together, we’ll explore the latest advances emerging from the fields of chemistry, physics, and engineering, and consider the environmental implications of both current and future solutions. A panel of Hub experts and guest speakers will deliver short, thought-provoking talks from diverse disciplinary perspectives, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
All are welcome—staff and students from across the Faculty and beyond. Morning tea will be provided – please register for catering purposes.
