FAQs
- What is the Climbing Anchors Garage Sale?
Think of it like a warehouse sale, but in the carpark of the Climbing Anchors Sydney store! Once every couple of years, we clear out the shelves of discontinuing models or excess stock with discounts on climbing shoes, gear and apparel. If you love a bargain, this is the one-day event you don’t want to miss.
If you need help during the sale, look for a Climbing Anchors staff member wearing a blue-green shirt.
- What is on sale?
The Garage Sale will include discontinuing models and selected excess stock at the marked price. All sale items related to this event will be located in the carpark section. Items located inside the Climbing Anchors store will NOT be included in the sale.
- Is entry free? Do I need to register to attend?
Yes, entry is free.
Registering for a ticket is so you can easily save the date to your calendar and get reminders. Also, it’ll help us understand how much staff and stock we’ll bring to this event.
- How early should I arrive?
If you want the best chance at getting your size in climbing shoes, then yes - come early and line up at the glass doors on the O’Riordan Street Entrance to the carpark complex. Last time we held this event, people started lining up from 8am. Doors open 10am.
Do not line up at the Climbing Anchors store entrance on Collins street. This will be used at exit only.
- Are items returnable or exchangeable?
We ask that you carefully select your size. These items are final sale, clearance items and last of sizes. Your shoes will still be covered by warranty.
- Will there be parking available?
There is limited street parking around the complex on O’Riordan Street, Collins Street, Williams Street & surrounding streets. We ask that people travel via public transport if possible.
- Can I pay by card or cash?
Yes, you can pay by either card or cash. We will prefer it if you can pay by card.
