Led by Jo, an ACIA qualified climbing guide, participants will learn the fundamentals of cleaning sport climbing anchors and understanding the systems commonly used outdoors. The evening will cover:
Understanding basic anchor safety principles
Practicing cleaning anchors safely and efficiently
How to communicate with your belay partner
Common mistakes climbers make outdoors and how to avoid them
This workshop is for anyone who wants to build confidence around cleaning sport climbing anchors. No previous outdoor climbing experience is required.
