Clocktower Con 2026
Description
Clocktower Con is back in Sydney, Australia, on the weekend of 17-19 July 2026. Players from all over the world will be here for an epic 3 days of all things BOTC - including trivia, talk panels, competitions, merchandise and all the games you could want!
We’re so excited to be able to confirm that Clocktower Con Australia 2026 is taking place on Sydney’s historic Cockatoo Island. Cockatoo Island is part of the traditional waterways and homelands of the Wallumedegal, Wangal, Cammeraygal and Gadigal peoples, who share the Dharug language. In Dharug, Cockatoo Island is known as Waremah. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and Owners of the lands on which we meet and play, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Our home for CCA is a former convict gaol and shipyard, and a UNESCO World Heritage listed site. And rumoured to host a ghost or two. We weren’t kidding when we said you’ve never played anywhere like this before…
Check the official website: cockatooisland.gov.au
We will be running games in several of the buildings in the Industrial Precinct.
For all the information you could possibly want about the venue, we have a Venue page - but here are the key points to start you off…
You get to the island by ferry; it takes around 10 minutes from Barangaroo or Circular Quay, but there are also stops out as far as Parramatta. We’ll share the ferry timetable here and in person
There will be on-site accommodation available to book through the Con. Check our Accommodation page for information.
If you prefer, you can also camp! There are both 'glamping' options and pitches for your own tent. The Island Accommodation page can help you with that: https://www.cockatooisland.gov.au/en/stay/waterfront-campground/
There are two cafes right next to our play area - both are licensed.
We will have everything you’re expecting: chairs! tables! lighting! a quiet space! presentation and audiovisual facilities!
And yes - it’s winter in Australia. We’re in a big warehouse. You’re going to need to layer up.
