Description

Everything is now, and everything is the past.

He has been waiting. For the bus, for his drink, for the comings and goings of his life. In all this time, Eddie Rapini has been waiting.

She arrives. At the bus stop, at the bar, lit by the glow of the moon. She emerges from the periphery of his life…and laughs in his face.

Irreverent. Aching. Tender.

When a young woman crashes into what is left of the dark and quiet dregs of Eddie’s life, he can’t imagine what would bring her to his bus stop. And what’s worse: he can’t get her to leave him alone. Ravenous with unrelenting purpose and bolstered with irreverence, the young woman is everywhere he goes. But why? And what future does she usher in with her?

In this World Premiere by Derek Murphy, these lost souls unravel what has been left unfinished and free themselves of what has been left unspoken. Don’t miss your chance to witness this darkly funny, heart-deep mystery as it unfolds onstage for the very first time.

Denver Theatre Ensemble is a small nonprofit theatre company based in Denver, Colorado, and we are so excited to kick off our third season this Summer 2026! To keep our productions and events as accessible as possible, we use a pay-what-you-can ticketing model. Tickets are a suggested donation starting at $25. However, if you have the means and are so inclined, please consider giving more. 100% of your ticket sales and donations from this event will go toward compensating the artists who fuel our future performances, design, and productions that make our artist-centered ecosystem possible. And your donation is tax-deductible!
