Clothes Swap for Formal Wear
Event description
Get ready for your school formal, end-of-year party, job interview or new job!
Bring in your party dresses, formal wear and office attire that you no longer wear and swap it out for something new and different. The best way to update your wardrobe - without the waste and without the cost 😊
Bring up to 6 items of clothing or accessories (handbags, jewellery, shoes etc). To ensure a high quality swap for all, please make sure all items are:
- clean, folded or pressed;
- of good quality with a long potential life span; and
- likely to be valued by others and free of faults (would you give it to a friend?).
If you don't have any suitable items to swap consider asking your relatives and friends.
Please note there will be a limited number of formal clothes donated to the event which will be made available to students who do not have items to swap but are in need of clothing for their end of year formals or job interviews. Please get in touch with the event organisers if you need formal attire or you have items to donate.
Check-in: 1-1:30pm
Swap: 1:30-2:30pm
Please arrive promptly at 1pm for check-in.
