Clothes Swap Party

Nina Gbor and Waverley Council are joining forces to bring you a clothes swap party like no other on Saturday 25 October. 

Come to Bondi Junction and swap your good-quality clothing with other members of our community. Leave with unique pre-loved garments, style tips, new friends and the satisfaction of knowing you have saved your clothes from landfill and given them to someone who will cherish them.  

Australia is one of the biggest per capita consumers of clothing in the world, generating over 300,000 tonnes of clothing waste annually. Swapping is a great way to refresh your wardrobe, keep clothes out of landfill and save money while saving the environment.

How? Bring top quality clothes and accessories you no longer use to this event. Then you browse, ‘shop’ and bring home others’ gorgeous garments in exchange! Please note, this is a gifting swap. SCHEDULE

10am - 10:45am: Arrive at the venue, register and check in your clothes and accessories to add to the swap collection pool (1-10 items maximum). Our team will sort your items onto racks and tables. You are free to socialise or grab a coffee (don't forget your reusable cup) until the welcome and event briefing begins.

10:40 - 11am: Welcome briefing, sustainable fashion talk and clothes styling demonstration by Nina Gabor

11am - 12pm: The swap officially begins for an hour of sustainable clothes browsing and swapping
