Event description

Fix a dropped hem, sew on a button, or use visible mending techniques to patch a hole in your jeans. Bring along your item of clothing that needs repair and sit with our experienced sewists who'll help you bring your clothing back to use! No experience necessary.

This repair cafe is part of the Oatley Remakery & Sustainability Hub program, funded by the NSW Government and run by The Bower Reuse & Repair Centre, with support from Georges River Council.

The Bower Repair Cafés are free meeting places to learn the art of repair in a collaborative setting and about
moving away from a throw-away culture to foster creativity and re-use.

This is a Covid-safe event. ALL ADULTS MUST WEAR A FACE MASK and check-in upon arrival.
