Description
Cloud Conversations: Let's Have a Chat ☁️
A little badge. A simple invitation. A chance to connect.
When was the last time you had a lovely conversation with someone you didn't know?
We cross paths with people every day at cafés, parks, shops and on public transport. But how do we know whether someone would actually welcome a conversation?
That's the question behind Cloud Conversations, a new community initiative exploring how we can make everyday human connection a little easier.
Join us for our very first pilot workshop, where we'll explore what stops us from talking to strangers, what makes a good conversation, and how we can create opportunities for respectful, meaningful connection.
What to expect:
Relaxed group discussions and interactive activities
Exploring what sometimes holds us back from connecting
Tips for listening, recognising conversational invitations and ending conversations respectfully
An introduction to the Cloud Conversations badge and Code
Your very own “LET'S HAVE A CHAT” badge pack to take home and try in the community
The badge simply signals:
“I'm open to a respectful conversation if you are.”
There's no pressure to approach strangers or make conversations happen. It's about making approachable people visible and allowing connection to happen naturally.
No experience needed — just curiosity and an open mind!
As this is our first pilot workshop, we'll also welcome your thoughts and feedback to help shape the future of Cloud Conversations.
One conversation. One person. One community at a time. ☁️
