CLOUD NINE: Aerial Life Drawing Night
Event description
CLOUD NINE is a life drawing night with an aerial twist.
This event will see our life model pose from within and around an aerial apparatus (Lyra) in a series of choreographed shapes. The evening will unfold in three Acts and two intermissions.
Who are we?
SPOON (she/her): I am a life model and sometimes artist living and working on Gadigal Land. CLOUD NINE is my first foray into producing a life drawing event.
ANNA SOL (she/her): Anna Sol is an aerialist and performer who will be making her life modelling debut at CLOUD NINE.
Why aerial life modelling?
Aerial life modelling brings together our respective loves for life drawing and the aerial arts. We are working together to create an evening of new and interesting shapes for artists to enjoy and feel inspired by.
Details:
- When: Saturday 25 March, 6pm - 8pm
- Where: 2A, 10 Carrington Road, Marrickville (search for “Shibari Sydney” on Google Maps). Street parking available, or a 600m walk from Marrickville Train Station.
- Admission: $25
- Art materials provided. Feel free to BYO materials.
